I want to see the user who has set up items in item master.
any body can help where to look -smart list or which table ?

I have seen item master table and item smart list I didn't find it there

I believe there's a field called user who created and a date. You can use smartfinder or look it up directly in the table.

Alternatively you could set up activity tracking on the inventory master and track all changes

you could also create yourself a trigger to populate an archive table with insert and delete info.

my apologies, that table does not have that field. It only has a created date CREATDDT and a modified date MODIFDT

you'll need to either use activity tracking or some home brewed solution.

If this is something you want to keep constant tabs on there are some Auditor Tools out there. One you might take a look at is Rockton Software's Auditor. There is an online demonstration on the web at:
It will allow you to track changes, additions, and deletions in your Dynamics GP SQL install. In addition to capturing the changes you can make the user put in a reason or have an email sent as soon as the change is committed.
