Hello Everyone....
I have an interesting, yet, perplexing problem.
As a lurker to this site for a long time, I usually get the help I need from just....lurking!
I recently moved to another state.
I had used Comcast cable modem service which came bundled with Internet Explorer. I have no problem with using IE but....now that I am using BellSouth's DSL I still see the Comcast main page every time I select IE. Going to "tools" and then Internet Options to change the page away from Comcast will not work. In fact, the section is grayed out, thus, Comcast seems to be hanging around without my invitation.
I tried removing IE and installing another...sans the Comcast crap.
It will not even let me uninstall.
I would like to override whatever is keeping me from deleting IE. I would then be able to reinstall a "clean" version. Correct?
Please give me your thoughts and any suggestions.
As usual, keep all the great information flowing.
Regards! BC
