We are trying to create on online manual in Adobe Acrobat 4.05c. The manual consists of several different documents, so in order for the user to "go back" to where s/he started, we've created a "Go Back" button (form field) with an "execute menu item" action (Go Back Doc). If you press the "Go Back" button more than once, you get an invalid page fault error (it is not the kernel32.dll error; the details show the error in acrobat.exe).
I have contacted Adobe's technical support and they told me to try using the link tool instead of the form field--it still doesn't work. The only alternative at this time is to use the "Go Back View" button in the Adobe toolbar; however, if you've scrolled on the page at all it can take you a few clicks to get back to the other document.
Does anyone have any creative work-arounds, or know of any programming geniuses who can develop a patch!?!?!?
Thanks--
