Hi
I am using IIS application (webclass - VB6) on Information Server. The problem is the webclass talks to a DLL which tries to access templates on a network folder using a UNC path (\\example\folder\file.template). An error message of "document/path is invalid" is returned. I tried moving the physical folder containing the pages to the networked computer (ok) and changing the anony login to a NT account which has access to that network folder but the error is the same. In development, when I run the IIS application using personal web server, it works fine. Any ideas?

UNC path points to a share on another machine correct? Make sure your share permissions are also there for the NT account you are using, not just the NTFS file permissions.

Also, make sure your not using FAT file system on the dev box, if you are using a FAT file system in dev your not really testing your production situation if prod is using NTFS.
