I am having a frustrating problem with Clustering. I am using Domino 6.5 on Linux and clustering it with a Win NT 4 server running Domino 6.5.

I have set up the cluster and added the 2 systems. When I issue the console command sho cluster, I get a good response showing the 2 servers.

The problem is that on the NT server machine, I get the error "Cluster Replicator was unable to configure using cluster database directory cldbdir.nsf: Invalid replica ID for cluster database".

I deleted the cldbdir file from the server and restarted the Cluter Directory Task. Still the same error. I removed the server from the cluster and added it again but still the same error. I copied the cldbdir fileto the server and still the same error. What do I do?

Hey,

When you deleted it, did you delete on both? Was it re-created? I would create a replica, not a copy on the other server. It might be there, but a different cluster Replica ID. Let me know.

Rgds,

John
