invalid reference subform report

Hi on the main report form i have a subform (report) whic i am tryin to get the value of a field from there.

strTEst = Me![DHDU Awaiting Count].Report!txtCountOfDD_ID.Value


But i get an invalid reference when i put this in?

As your syntax looks OK, you may need to carefully check that you don't have a typing error?

Is that the name of the subreport control? Sometimes the name of the report contained can be used in error.
