Hi.
I just set up network accounts (NW5SP6) for two new staff members including GroupWise accounts w/ aliases. The problem is when they log in. They get the following error message during the login script processing:
LOGIN 4.21.15-470: The specified drive mapping is an invalid path.
(Root H:=Sys:\users/jmacdona)
The actual Login username is jmacdonald. The first thing I looked at is our GroupWise alias is 8 characters (in this case jmacdona@xxxx.xx.xx). This seems to be just a coincedence. The other thing I thought might be happening is that DOS still only allows 8 characters, but other existing accounts are fine. Novell's KnowledgeBase said that this happens when you try to map to a server that you're not connected to. These accounts log into the correct server.
Any suggestions or help would (and is) greatly appreciated!
