Hi,
I am having a reoccurring illegal operation message that shuts down the page i'm on usually when i type in a box or in a chat room. the error message is:
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 015f:bff9d709.
Registers:

Stack dump:

when this happens my active desktop requires recovery - the error message says "Internet exporer has experienced a problem error...."

Usually my connection is unaffected but sometimes it cuts out too.

Can anyone give me some direction as how to resolve this problem. I did find one other thread on this subject and it recommended that i turn off my "autodirect", which i did without any luck.

Thanks,
Deanbob

Deanbob,
This really is a website programming forum. I'm not sure how helpful we can be with Windows Kernel problems. Also, it really depends if the error is caused by a specific page or site, or if it is caused by your browser on random sites. Without knowing this, it is almost impossible to determine the cause.

I'd try the MS Windows 95/98 Forum here:
forum615 the MS IE forum here:
forum608 of those might be a better choice than a website programming language forum.

Thanks!
