I have an application where only one user out of about 30 users keeps getting this error message " Illegal Operation ... invalid page fault in module MSJET35.dll" . The database is located on her hard drive and the application accesses files on the network.

This doesn't happen every time she is working in the application. What is the best way to find out the problem and resolve this issue?

Thanks.

Here are some articles that may help.

Other suggestions:

Apply JET35UPD.EXE patch from MS' FTP site.

Run database repair on the user's database.

Create a new empty mdb file. Then export all tables, queries, macros, modules, etc. into this new mdb file.

Replace the user's database with a new copy.

Try re-registering MSJet35.dll and DAO350.dll with RegSvr32 manually.

Copy MSJET35.dll from a computer where ACCESS works to see if the fault is in that component. Terry
