invalid page fault ??? Geesh

I keep getting this 3 or 4 times a day and it ends up closing my browser and sendng my desktop into some "restore default" white page.... it's pretty annoying. I'm no software guru though and don't understand how to resolve this.

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:b00dc240.

If anyone has tips on how I can keep this from happening, it would be MOST appreciated! Thanks

I should also note this is IE6 w/SP1
