Invalid operation compact and repair access 2007 1

Hi,

When i try and compact and repair my access 2007 accdb file i get a message box "Invalid Operation", has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know why it happens.

Update.....

Hmmmm....i think the problem related to the tables that are linked to the back end. I've just noticed that when i linked them i inadvertently also linked the system tables as well, so i deleted all the linked tables, started the process again without linking the system tables and then tried to compact and repair, which actually worked withot the error message!!
