invalid keycode file

I HAVE A BCM50 2.0 RELEASE
WHEN I TRY TO ENTER A KEYCODE THAT I GOT FROM THE NORTEL SITE THE ERROR COMES UP "INVALID KEYCODE FILE"
IT DOES THE SAME IF I LOAD IT FROM THE NORTEL SITE OR MANUALLY
AFTER I CLICK "OPEN" NOTHING HAPPENS
