invalid filename in exclusions

I am trying to add an exclusion to a workstation accessing files from a Windows 2000 server. The server filename has hyphens in the name. I get an error message "invalid filename" when I try and exclude anything on the server. Is NAV intolerant of hyphenated filenames? NAV version 8.02.6
