I have created a report which calls a Stored Proc from MS SQL Server 7.5

When I save, close, reopen and run the report it gives me a 'invalid descriptor index' error. I verify the report and it says the DB is up to date. When I refresh again it works fine but if I save, close, reopen and run the report I get the error again.

The stored procedure is used by other reports which all run fine and it has not been changed. All the fields used in the report are returned by the SP.

Any ideas???

It can be caused by a few things, and it's an ODBC error:

If you're not using the Crystal supplied SQL Server ODBC driver, you should be.

What is an Invalid Descriptor Index?

This error is caused by permission violations, an attempt to access a blob field on the SQL server with an ODBC driver, or an attempt to access long records with decimal/numeric data.
