Hello All Friends,

I am using Sage Accpac 5.5A, Can anybody let me know abt error " Invalid Database Specification", bcz i am to installing Sage Accpac 5.5A for on Windows , and when i try to login to a company above mentioned error appears, although i am using admin account. I have installed for one another client on Windows 7 and working fine, I lot try to reinstall and install it again but no affect, same problem yet.

Specification:
Version: Sage Accpac 5.5A
Database: SQL Server 2005
Server Operiting System: windows 2003
Cleint Operiting System: Windows 7

Note: For other cleints its working fine.

Kind Regards

Did you create the connection to the system database as well?

That should not be required for MS SQL, if you use the server name in Accpac database setup.
Maybe it is a rights issue on the Win7 workstation, the user does not have rights to modify the registry and the ODBC DSN is then not created.
