I'm getting this message once in a while in my SQL Server Error Log.

I'm using Windows 2000 Advanced Server SQL Server Enterprise Edition SP3

I saw one article from Microsoft but they talked about some SQl .Net provider issue. None of the applications that connect to my server are .Net based but VB6 based.

I also do not get Access Violation error messages but only the subject error itself.

Pls advise

thanks

You might try one of these links and see if any of them pertain or could help. The last one you might try and see if it pertains to the version of ADO your client apps are using.

Hope this helps.
