I am tring to restore a .pmb backup file and getting the message "Invalid backup file". I am very new to myssql so I don't have a clue what that means. Wrong version of mysql? Corrupted file?
I was given the file by a company using MySQL. I am supposed to convert it to SQL. I was told it is a backup of their MySQL. I installed a copy of MySQL locally and also installed Navicat to connect to the server. I created a new blank database and started to run a restore. I selected the .pmb file and Navicat automatically says that it is an invalid backup file. .pmb is a valid extension for a backup file I think - there are three choices when you are browsing to the files in Navicat -
Backup Compressed File (*.psc)
Backup File v2 (*.psb)
Backup File v1 (*.pmb)
