I have 40 TN’s identified as unavailable. I would like to remove all of them, but fear they are associated to a controlled application (Symposium, Signaling server, Remote carrier…etc)

Some of the TN's have a satus of IDLE and some are DSBL.

Can I assume the DSBL TN's can be deleted?

Before you ever delete anything you should Print the TNB of it and save a copy until your sure it was OK, that way if you screwed up you can put it back in.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Also verify that if any of those TNs are listed in in your controlled application that you disable them before OUTing them.

Since the INV PRT SETS gives you a TN list, you should be able to compare this against the Phonesets & Voice Ports list in SCCS/CC, and so forth with other controlled applications.

call pilot ext do show up in that table as well as mermail. any soft ext will not idu.. i run that command once a week to look for missing sets.. i put outed sets tnb on a share drive for when someone tries to plug them in and calls in a trouble.. usually ours are construction, but some times it's just someone wanting a free upgrade..
