When a it says:

2616, 14 00, <Unavailable>, ATEST4, 22025

What does unavailable mean?
What is 14 00?
What is ATEST4?

Thank you so much!

Andre

Does unavailable mean its programmed in the system but no digital phone is plugged in?

Andre

saphiamond,
Requests for the Inventory feature to begin generating the
Inventory file for all of the cards in the system. The generation
produces an inventory file with all of the cards configured on the
system. Those cards that are present in the system and have card
ID are noted in the inventory file with their card type, TN, and card
ID. Those cards that do not have card ID or are not present in the
system, will be noted to be “Unavailable” in place of their card ID.

Thank you for the response EddieDuece.

I was told that the Inventory feature would tell you which digital phones are programmed but not connected...

Is that not true?

How can I find this out?

Your help is most appreciated!

I apologize, I was looking at the card inventory.

INV GENERATE SETS
Requests for the Inventory feature to begin generating the
Inventory file for the digital telsets with their telsets’ IDs that have
been configured in the system. Those telsets that are present in the
system and have sets ID are noted in the inventory file with their
sets type, TN, sets ID, DES, Primary DN. Those telsets that do not
have sets ID or ar not present in the sytem will be noted to be
“Unavailable” in place of their sets ID.

So if you are seeing 2616, 14 00, <Unavailable>, ATEST4, 22025, then there is no set connected to the jack.

Thanks Eddie...

Telsets w/o ID or not present in the system - what exactly does that mean?

Andre

That means that the system cannot identify the set. Meaning nothing is plugged in at the station side.

Perfect! Thats exactly what I was lookin for. Thanks Eddie!

Andre

two things to look for in the inv prt sets..

the missing stations and the stations that do not match the as built.. i out all missing digital sets.. and i disable sets that users have swapped.. after they report trouble.. i swapped them back.. the bad thing is here on site, you dial a 4 digit number give then the details and we move the station in a couple of days.. no charge, but users still think they can get a free display..
