Hi All,
Don't laugh, this is a serious question. Does anyone know if an Intuity LX will integrate with a Partner ACS R6? In band pots.
My thought is that it will as the Partner and Legend inband codes are very similar. (2 digit dial plan) Comments please.
-Chris

We have used several different types of v-mail on a Partner system but never the Intuity - i know that active voice has different integration codes for the legend/magix and the partner so i don't think they are exactly the same.

My first thought was yes, but I have been wrong a lot lately, so I looked it up, this is what I found:

Thank you very much for that info! Looks like I have to play with a digit grabber some. Upstateny, you may be right. I'll check a legend system & Partner with a digit grabber & see how close they are.
Thanks again to a great group!
-Chris

Upstateny, you wouldn't happen to have those codes around would you? Or give me a link. I just want to check my work against your info. I will post the results.
Thanks again,
-Chris

The codes i am familiar with are specifice to the active voice product and it's integration.

Hi Upstateny,
I was hoping you had the expected DTMF strings. Oh well, I guess they just give you a menu choice then. Not a custom integration like the older CallXpress.
-Chris

itpphoneguy, once you hook up the audix, you should be able to 'monitor' the channels and see what is being sent. If all else fails, you might try loading the Merlin integration software and try some tweeking after that.

Thanks franke,
That's what I was thinking as a last resort. I was just reading an Avaya document that states Partner ACS integration as of May, 06, 2004. (Planned Integration) The integrations are in testing currently. I am just about to spark up a Legend to see what it spits out in a 2 digit dial plan.
Thanks,
-Chris

Hi All,
After some testing I find that the line numbers are sent as 8XX no matter what the dial plan is set to. The problem of course is the "8". An integration would have to drop or absorb the "8". No problem with a custom integration, but a canned one removes the option of playing with the digits. Darn.
Thanks to all who thought about this.

-Chris

I found another problem, possibly, the Map5 w/Merlin integration only accepts 3 or 4 digit extension length.

franke

Hi Franke,
I didn't know that. Thank you. The release for Partner Integration is due soon, we shall see.
