Intuity lx analog board

I recently installed a second 4 port board into an Intuity LX.
The docs say "Verify that the hook-switch state of the new card is set to On so that callers hear a busy signal when the card is not initialized. Use the red SW4 switch, located near the top of the card, to set the hook-switch state."
I can't find anywhere of what to do with the switch after the card is initialized. Do I leave it as is or flip it to the off posistion.

Intuity lx is not modular messaging, course it is not a definity either, but U might try posting in the Definity forum as there are many people that work on LX over there.
