intuity audix voicemail broadcast problem

The situation that I have is that a user went to leave a message for another user. Now when anybody logs into their mailbox they hear this guys message then their name. What I
need to know is how to get rid of this and how to make sure it doesn't happen again.

What your user has done is send a login announcement. Login announcements will expire on their own after 48 hours as a default. If you don't wish to wait, you can access the sender's mailbox and follow the prompts to delete the login announcement message. After the message is deleted, you can change the COS for that user (and all your users) to restrict them from sending broadcast and login announcements. Make sure you wait until you have deleted the login announcement or waited for it to expire. If you change the permissions before the announcement is gone, you could get that message stuck as the login announcement and you'd have to contact Avaya's data corruption unit to get it fixed.
