We have an Intuity Audix VM system running with a Merlin Magix PBX. The guy who oversaw all this being installed and who got the training from the vendor is no longer working here.

I am looking for instructions on how to go into the Intuity UNIX box and view the software version info of the VM system. I need this to be able to download the correct iteration of documentation & manuals from the Avaya web site. At this point I don't know which product name(s) and versions to go into on the Avaya support site to get the right manuals.

Thanks,

Hopefully you at least able to login this box. If this is an older MAP (which also may say "Intuity" on the front), choose Customer/Services Administration, System Verification, and then View Installed Software.

If Customer/Services Administration isn't available from your mail menu, please post what you do see. I'll try to point you in the right direction based on that.

If it has a tape drive only for backups then it would be an R-4, if it has a CD drive with a travan tape drive or MO disk then it would be a R-5.x device.

Thanks. Both replies helped a lot. I can now see that we definitely have a R4 system. Can anyone tell me exactly which product listed here:
that I should be looking at for documentation? The manuals I found in our server room don't really help much in trying to determine exactly where to go online for docs.

You may want to click on Customer Services Admin > System Verification > View Installed Software page down 12, 13 pages (number of pages determined by how much software s installed. Be patient, it may take a couple of minutes before it displays any info. It should display the current version of your software under audix software. Hope that's for you are looking for.
