We have a Definity G3 Release 10, in a Pro logix cabinet, using
a Intuity Audix in skin voicemail. That voicemail is now failing.
It delivers a sizzling sound on all recorded messeges including greetings. What will be involved in replacing it?
it might not be the Audix that is failing. if you have all the analog ports to the Audix coming over on only one analog card in the Prologix, you might check that card.
i don't think there is a 'replacement' for an Intuity Audix at this point. Both the Prologix and Intuity Audix are no longer sold by Avaya/Avaya BPs. If you have a maintenance contract with someone, you might be in luck getting the Audix repaired. But looking at how old your entire system is, Avaya/Avaya BPs will push for you to upgrade to an S8XXX CM6 with CMM (Communication Manager Messaging).
