What are the steps necessary to set up a delay for daytime AA coverage? I have no information on how to integrate and make changes on this combination of systems. Does anyone know where I can get a manual? I have instructions for installing Intuity on a Legend, but not the programming - translating from Legend ext/group nos to Audix.

Above are links to Intuity Audix and Merlin Legend system programming.

The programming required is the Group Calling members, which in your case would be the required number of analog station ports connected to the Audix AYC-10 card, instead of the Integral ports in a MLM-007 board.

I guess I didn't mention that they already have everything installed. I can't find in the manual how to Audix differs when setting up a mailbox for a calling group. We tried to set up one for 772,as usuall for delayed call handling, but the range on audix is in the 200's, so I couldn't set up a MB. It seems I will need one for the daytime message. How do I tell the legend to go to that greeting during the day? I also don't know how to access the audix remotely. There is an extension that is a DID that overflows to the vm calling group, labeled RA. I don't know what to do with that info. I only have WinSPM R9 on my laptop; will other software be needed?

A calling group (772)for delayed call handling would need to be setup as an auto-attd. Apparently the Audix is set for a 3 digit range, you indicate the 200 range. The dial plan for Audix should have been setup for 200 thru 899 to allow a full range, but may not have been. That may be changed in Audix Administration
If you are wanting a DID number to be answered Day or Night by an Auto-Attd, then Audix must be correctly administered for that DID number
Remote access is via an installed AYC-54 remote modem board and is accessed by a program such as ProComm or Avaya Site Administration using 4410 terminal emulation.
The Documents link for Audix that I provided should supply all the information needed, but if you are not familiar with Audix, you will have a bit of reading to do.

You can also remotely access the Audix through SPM's "pass through" function, assuming the Audix has the serial port card and is connected to the Legend. If you have DID service, set up a DID for DISA (use a barrier code!), or do a loop-around from a S/L station to a CO port.

Thank you to both of you. Now that I can get into the Audix, I can see how it is configured.
