Intsalling 4.2 on XP

is there a way to install 4.2 client on Windows XP?

install sybase first then run the client software followed by the client patches......its always worked for me.....

But when i run the install in pops up cant run this version of Client on the current operation system? How do you get around that nag?

Are you using XP Pro or XP Home? You need XP Pro...

hi mrcsharp i have not had any problems like this, but do you have the admin rights to load this software on this p.c,let us know if u get anywhere??

i figured it out I installed sysbase and crystal reports first then I ran the Setup exe under Windows 2000 Compatibility. It worked. yay!
