My MD is running BC9, CNI85. I have been trying to get Intrusion working, but so far no luck. I have read all the threads in here related to Intrusion, triple-checked the categories, and still get "INT REQUEST FAILED" when I try to activate intrusion (all sets involved are digital sets).

Anyone have any ideas why it doesn't work? I have used it quite successfully on BC11....
Thanks!

Have you checked SERV of all sets? All sets involved in the connection (including C-party) must allow intrusion, i.e.: have value 02 in D3D4 of the SERV-parameter.
Intruding party must have at least 05 in D3D4 or anyway -of course- higher ICL than the party intruded on. Remember that only priority 3 can intrude upon equal priority.

Have you tried it from an operator yet?

Yes, I have beaten the categories to death. Currently I have the following:
Ext. 7560 and Ext. 7562 have SERV = 02021203.
Ext. 7563 has SERV = 02051207.

When I call 7560 to/from 7562 and try to initiate intrusion from 7563, I still get "INT REQUEST FAILED".

I have tried setting 7563 to xx15xxxxx, same result. Changed all extensions to INT Priority 3, same result.
Changed D7D8 to allow call waiting tone and transmission, same result. I can't see what is stopping it from going through.

This is from an answer i made in thread thread806-701997

It's easy to get the pri classes of the IPL wrong ..

Intrusion:
Controlled by the serv parameter in EX and KS category.
SERV=xxYYXXXXX

a)Allowed to intrude = 01
b)Allowed to be intruded on = 02
c)pri class 0 = 00
d)pri class 1 = 04
e)pri class 2 = 08
f)pri class 3 = 12

So an extension with is given intrusion priority class 1
Allowed to intrude on other with class 0&1 ,but not be intruded on.
SERV d3d4 would be a+d , SERV=xx05xxxxx

The route must also set to receive intrution
ROCAC:ROU=X,SERV=2XXXXXXXXX; (minimum D1=2)
(this if an intrution is to be made on an extension
talking to trunk)

Whether an extension may initiate intrusion towards another party alternatively whether another party may effect intrusion on the extension. Furthermore, which priority the extension possesses on intrusion. Priority denotes whether an extension may effect intrusion on another party possessing same or lower class of priority.
Highest priority (3) means however that an extension may intrude on another extension possessing the same priority.

Yes, I saw that, and set my categories exactly as specified in the thread. My situation has the category set for xx02xxxx, which allows intrusion (on both the A and B stations). The intruding party has service = xx05xxxx, which allows intrusion at priority level 1. No matter what priority level I assign to the intruding party, the call simply will not happen. I tried assigning priority level 3 to the intruding party, but no luck. I have tried setting all phones involved with equal priorities, and still no luck. We don't have a console, so I can't test from that to see if it works or not.
