Craig, don't make the mistake of going for some easy sounding book that promises to teach you in twenty-four hours or some rubbish like that. Get yourself a proper reference book. These books have a lot of the basics, not all but the point about basics is that they are basic and not too hard to figure out especially with the help provided with VBA. I was recently asked to recommend a book for someone starting Access programming and when I went and looked the best one I found was called
Code:
Access 2000 Power Programming
by F. Scott Baker and published by SAMS. If you want a book for all flavours of VBA I don't know a good one off hand but try and get something that has a couple of thousand pages and says 'Advanced' or something in the title. A book like this will last you years not weeks like a lot of introductory books. I'm speaking from experience here - I've a small stack of '.. for Dummies' etc. in the corner of my room (it took me a while to figure it out - don't beleive what they tell you on the cover of these things);-).
