The installation of this version allots the entire first disk to SYS: volume and with current standards this could be upto 20-330 GB minimum.
Apparently there is an undocumented feature that allows:
- The ADMIN to delete the SYS" volume - while SERVER.exe is loaded,
- Then reallot space for SYS: (using LOAD INSTALL),
- Then reload SYS: from Install packages.
It doesn't work for me but the end user asserts that it was done by the previous DBA about 3 years back. (We are now going for disk upgrades).
Can anyone shed any light on this?
