Intranet website + rights

hi

I have an intranet website with a few folders and html documents. Now, I want to configure some rights for different users. When person X logs on to my server, and opens te intranet website. He only have to be able to acces folder X. When user Y logs onto my server, and opens the intranet website he only has to be able to view map Y, ...

how to I do that?

Can you please be a little descriptive, i just don't know windows 2000 server that good :)
