I'm looking to implement a Corporate Intranet Search and was wondering if anyone here had any particular favorites.

Am currently doing the google and filter through the loads of companies which claim to have all the best Intranet Searches in the world.

Free, paid, open, closed solutions all interesting to me.

Thanks,
Rob

what language?

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull

If you're referring to the search language, primarily english, but I don't want that to be a limiting factor (though it would likely be acceptable in a low priced/free solution).

If you're referring to the programming language written in... that makes no difference to me. I'm not necessarily looking for something that will sit on our server, it can, or it can sit on its own little box doing its thing, makes no difference to me.

Yeah, they're one of the companies I'm talking with. Do you have any personal experience with it?

Check the Verity K2 server... if thats too pricy, buy Coldfusion, and you get it for free :) :)

What exactly do you get for free with CF?

Do you know if whatever it is can handle docs/pdfs etc, as well as multiple domains?

I'll start digging though.
