Intranet on W2000 srv with Apache 1

I have aetup a intranet on a Windows 2000 server with Apache as a web server.
When a client on a local network try to access the server with Internet explorer he is first promptet to make a dial out with the modem. When the modem connects he can access the web server on the local network.

How do i prevent the dial out ?

hi bmaljeno
have u checked ur dial-up settings in ur internet explorer
tools->internet options->connections->dialup settings
set it to never dial a connection
