I am developing an intranet accross a windows platform of win2k server domain server and win2k workstations. I aim to to do the following:

When a user logs onto their win2k workstation , I want the username and password to also verify their intranet privilages (without them needing to type them in again) against the intranets authentification database.

I am aware I should use active directory and ADSI, but I don't have a clue where to start.

Cheers for any help.

Not sure but does 2kserver have anything similar to NT authentication The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made.

It does. Win2K is built on NT tech....You can request
strUser = request.servervariables("LOGON_USER") will give the ID of the user..
