dear friends
i am developing online application for our library.this is an intranet based application. i would like to use asp.
the the application has the the following desing
1. login screen where in the used is supposed to enter the id and password.submit and reset buttons are provided.on entering the correct password for the valid user he is taken to the enxt screen where in the books taken by him are displayed.then there is an option for search on the books based on author and title.then on the search results he can reserve books . the applcation aslo has the features for the librarin to
accept /reject online reservation requests
to notify the employee about his return dates,reservation status.
I ams completely new to asp.so incase if any one you have code for a similar functionality (i.e for login,or search , or email notifications,or processing online requests any one of the above) please give it to balachandarG@HOTAMIL.COM
OR PUT IT HERE ITSELF. ANYHELP FROM YOUR SIDE IS VERY MUCH USEFUL TO ME.you can guide me in anyone of the above requirements it need not be all.I require this very urgently.

Dear balachandar, I'm fairly new to ASP programming also and with the help of many here I just finished my first ASP project.

My page contains most of what you mention above. I can tell you from experience that nobody here will provide you with a concept on how to design or code your page, but they will gladly help you troubleshoot it.

You willl need to try coding and if it's wrong, we can help you.
