Hi

Has any one got the Advatel InTouch fully working yet,
eg skype etc to desk phone

I think it just centrally presents control of them and adjusts presence on them together etc, it doesn't present skype calls to the users deskphone

I do have it fully working and Andy is correct, for skype, yahoo, etc, its just for the purpose of showing the users presence. It does not send calls to the desk phone.

you can click to IM via Skype and Yahoo but that and presence is all its for.

cheers guys, yes thats what i have working already, its all about the presence, but the md says he had a conversation with avaya dev at rugby that told him otherwise.
but i knew it was a bit ambitious.
good bit of kit though, althou if you park a call and pick up parked call from another ext it wont show the number , it just shows a call to yourself

Avaya have been telling a lot of people a lot of sh1t lately it seems....maybe in the future but not now it doesn't

intouch is Avaya TAPI and 3rd party presence only.

and its horrible. anymore than 5 people to install it on and you want to hang yourself.

try GoConnect instead. centralised server, shared address book, no tapi install, presence, crm intergration, screen scraping and so on.... much better app tbh.

I read some documents from Empix evolve Skypetophone that claims calls to Skype IDs can be extended to both a deskphones and mobiles. Has anyone else read this?
