INTL.DLL NOT FOUND

Ok.
I want to save a gif.
I got the plugin from

http://www.gimp.org/win32

extracted the zip to C:\program files\gimp
gif.exe is now in the folder with all the other plug-ins
when i load gimp, i get an error saying a required dll, intl.dll has not been found

i found a way to bypass it for now, but it's a pain in the but

just for grins I checked my XP Pro Gimp install for intl.dll and found it in C:\program files\gimp\bin. Perhaps your install was overly customized, or it couldn't create \bin, or ?

You didn't say which version of windows, but if you have a login, Log in as administrator, uninstall GIMP, then re-install. <shot in the dark>

Sry about the version, i have ME.
For some reason i got a back verson of gimp from a download site (1.2.4) which apparently wasn't compatable with the 1.2.5 plugin. Im redownloading both GIMP and GTK (that also was about 1 minor minor version behind forcing me to redownload)
