I have 4 switches tied to one intuity and the newest switch doesn't seem to light the lights. I run a activity log on the extension and I see the intuity does try to light the light. Any help would be nice.

Are you using DCS between the switch's?
If so there can be a problem with that config.
I had a problem when I upgraded my system, and that was one of the issues.

When dialing an extension at the newer switch, does it show the correct extension information from the other switches. If it doesn't then your DCS is not setup correctly. I am sorry, can remember right off know what was not configured correct in DCS.

also, make sure you put the proper 'switch number' in the subscriber screen in the intuity.

thanks,tim

I have checked the switch number in Intuity, and the extension numbers do come up correctly on the displays.

if you status the station in that last switch does it show any messages waiting for that station?

Has the newest switch got NCA TSC's assigned from that location back to the location with the intuity.

You can check this on page 2 of the signalling group assigned to the trunk.

The new site must have a connection with audix assigned and the site with intuity must have the same/similar connection but assigned to the gateway - as the intuity site acts as a gateway for the intuity.

I hope this makes sense.

What are the version of you main system, your voice mail, and the system that is having the problem?

On the sig group the TCS are assigned 1 for DCS and 1 for intuity.

The version of swith at remote site is 9.5 and home is rel 11.

On the intuity is the switch link up or down ( customer service admin / Diagnostics / link diagnostics.

Yes, the link is up , the message lights work for the other 2 switches.

I do not remember how, but there is way to force an audit of the voice mail system. You might want to try that; it will sometimes correct the message light problem.

I had a similar problem after I updated my System to an s8700 in Jan. We also updated the Voice Mail system. But there was a bug in how it would function with my DCS'ed Prologic V6. And we had to drop the Voice Mail bad a revision to get it resolved.

Also... if DCS'd, make sure the PBX ID field on page 2 of the trunk group page has a unique value. I had the same issue...

Thanks,

Wildcard

I will try the Audit of the voice mail, I have checked the switch trunk group on either side and matched it up with the others that worked.
