InTether aka Smartesolutions - can't open read-only CD

Have anyone had any experience with InTether protecting the content of a read-only CD that is in Word?

I have made StarOffice my default and do not have Word on my Toshiba Tecra M1 (and would erase it if it tried to get on!)

I thought good ol' StarOffice would handle all Word Documents with no problem, but this InTether content manager is a *itch.

I mean "witch." Sorry.
