Intersolv ODBC Error

I am running IDS 7.3 on a windows nt 4.0 domain controller machine with windoiws 98/NT 4.0 clients that connect to it using Informix client 2.5. Now i have windows XP machines. I have installed my application software which includes informix client 2.5 on the WIN XP machines successfully. The problem is when i try to execute the application it is failing to connect to the database server and it is giving the following error initially:

User "informix" can not connect to the database "database name". Please have your administrator verify your username and password

When I click ok and try to search for the database server, the followiung error message appears:

Informix error code:2704. [Intersolve][ODBC informix driver]error
parsing connect string at offset 81. Unknown database error: 2704

Would anyone know what is causing this problem on the Windows XP machines.

Hi,
maybe Client SDK 2.5 is not upported for Win XP.
As I take a look on the ibm sites no product is released for Win XP, but I know that Client SDK 2.81 will work on XP.
