intersite excahnge organisation

Dear All,
I have Installed an active directory 2003 and exchange 2003 in site1.
i created a child domain in site2 for the parent in site one.
both sites are connected through internet, when i install an exchange 2003 in site2, no errors appears during the installtion, but after completeing the installation the system manager is missing many things , like servers container.. etc.
also system manager in site1 contains only one server not both of them. any help ?
