I am wondering if there is a way to stop an in-process transfer. Specifically - a client calls in, the operator transfers them to an off-site number. The off-site doesn't answer; the call calls go the off-site person's cell phone. The operator notices the line is still flashing on her system access button, so she picks up the button and the client says well if Diana isn't there can I talk to Mike. If she presses the transfer button again, the system completes the transfer to the first caller, dropping it from her system access button without allowing her to re-route the call.
Is there a way to interrupt the transfer process so she can transfer the call to a second person? I have never had this requested before. Went to site and verified that a) she can pick up the call again and b) pushing the transfer button completes the first transfer and I am not sure the best way to give her the functionality of transferring the call to a second person. She swears she could do it on her Merlin Magix, but I think that is because she was on a line appearance at an operator console, not a system access button on an IPO. Thank you.
