This is hard for me to explain:

If you just type in an address minus the " and the " into a web browser, most sites will automatically come up... i.e. if you just type in "americanexpress.com" and not " it will still link you to "
How do I get my site to do this? If I just type the address without the " nothing comes up. If I type the " along with the rest of the address but not the " it comes up. I want it to come up without the " AND without the "
I'm not even sure if I'm in the right forum, but please, any help would be appreciated.

I know this is a dns issue as well as your web server configuration. Sorry I can't give you more to go on. Tony ... aka chgwhat

When in doubt,,, Power out...

this is a DNS and web server issue no doubt..

what u have to do is configure the DNS server authoritative for your domain to point your domain name to an IP address, which is the IP address of your web server..... u would then setup a CNAME record in your DNS server to point the of your domain name to your domain name's A record.. below is an illustration:

abc.com IN A 1.2.3.4
IN A abc.com

i think this is self explanatory...

after this, setup your web server to reply to requests that come in with the HTTP header reading both abc.com and
good luck..
