I have a Windows 2000 Pro PC I have added to my network. I would like to ensure that all internet bound traffic goes to this PC. This PC has a third party Network Agent which sends information to a web filter and looks for a positive or negative response as to whether a certain user has rights to use a certain protocol.

Any ideas how I can achieve this. I have tried to point a pc to the above by adjusting the gateway but its obviously not that simple!!

Kind Regards

Put two network cards in the server and make it the default gateway for the network and connect the other card to the internet router or other firewall. That way the ONLY way to the internet from the network will be the gateway PC.

I ended up putting a little netgear 4 port hub between the Cisco Pix and The Server all Traffic bound for the Pix was analyzed by the server! It works a treat.

Kind Regards
