Internet Tools error message

Using IE 5.5. Tried to open Internet Tools and got message
"The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". I am not on network? What is this message all about? Didn't happen before.

backup the registry and/or export the following keys:
go to Start>Run, type regedit. Navigate to:


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Look for an entry named NoFolderOptions, right-click, choose modify and type in the number 0.

Also check this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions

for an entry named NoBrowserOptions. Change that value to 0 also.
