Internet text boxes lock up--HELP PLEASE

Hello I have Win2K Pro with SP1. In IE5.5 when ever I am on a screen that requires either a loging or information (Text Boxes)my IE will lock up as soon as I attemt to go to the next box. It comes back after about 1 minute. and I can continue till I need to go to the next box. Anyone have any Ideas?
