We are having problems while surfing the net, when our DNS server IP address is included with our ISP's DNS servers,
we get alot of PAGE NOT FOUND errors. when we remove our DNS server from the list everything works correctly.

Any ideas ?????

Is your DNS server working correctly? Try running nslookup from a command line. Then type "server yourserversIP", for example: server 10.0.0.1 and hit enter. Then type in some web addresses, like and see if it's resolved to an IP address. Also, maybe try including your DNS server after the ISP's DNS servers so the clients will check the ISP's DNS first.

If your using your Win2k server as a Domain Controller then you will want to remove your ISP's DNS from the the nic and only use the servers ip for DNS. You then can if you like at the ISP's dns ip as a forwarder in your DNS setup. Windows @k depends heavily on DNS. Adding your ISP's DNS to your client will affect your network and prevent it from working.

We've got our clients configured to have our DNS server and our ISP's DNS servers IP addresses and it's not causing a problem. This way if for some reason our server, or dns on our server, stops working we still have DNS available so we can get on web sites and get our mail.
