I've created a VPN connection into my office that works just fine - I can VPN in, browse shared resources, etc. However, as soon as I connect with VPN I can no longer browse the Internet - I get server not found / page cannot be displayed errors. As soon as I disconnect the VPN I can once again browse. WIndows XP and DSL Internet, laptop with wireless network connecting to a D-Link router. Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Your VPN server & client must have split-tunneling enabled
to accomplish this. THIS IS A SECURITY HOLE !!!!!!
Why expose your core resources to the internet ?

THis is caused by the "Use Default gateway on remote network" being checked inNetworking - TCP/IP properties - Advanced.

But Net is right this is now the lowest hanging fruit for hackers and a very very easy way into your network. I certainly wouldn't recommend allowing it.

Let people connect to your VPN let them work but when they want to browse the net make them disconnect.......
