Internet sites with passwords (IE6 on XP)

Hi, i'm trying to access a secure website form my XP machine, when i type my username and password in, after i click login (or press enter) the page seems to try load, but then returns me back to the login screen!
I know that the username and password is correct as i can access the site form several other PC's (a W2K and Me machine)We also know that it's not a problem with XP in general as other people I know with XP can access the site with my username and password.

Has anyone come accross such a problem? If so were you able to fix it??

I had this problem with Freeserve. I change ISP and voila!

Check your security settings in IE
