hi!

is anyone knows how to setup internet sharing using:

Server: redhat linux 8
Client: win98 se
isp: dsl

server side: internet is working

any inputs will appreciate thanks in advance ____________________________________________________

I'm not completely understanding your question. If you want to have a public web site, you will either need a public IP on the webserver, or have a router forward port 80 to your internal web server. I have done this, so post back if you need more help... Thanks,

my windows 98 se cannot go outside...only the apache server. when i try to go outside, there is an url error. what will i route
is this right :
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE

or this one:
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE

eth0 is connected to the modem while eth1 is connected to the ethernet switch

this is my setup

Redhat 8 Server
eth0-DHCP use for modem connection
eth1-10.0.0.21 255.255.255.0

Win98 se Client
eth0-10.0.0.18 255.255.255.0

modem connected to hub
client connected to hub
server connected to hub

how can i route this settings i enable to browse the server but cant get to public site.
