On an NT4 Server based network with several users how would i give all users internet access via an isp without having to disrupt all static ip address on server and workstation, although if i have would be willing to change to DHCP.

Hi,

You will need to put the ip address of the router on the gateway tab of the ip properties of each PC.

Also you will need to put the DNS details in as well.

Best to put the computer name in the host box, and the local domain name in the domain box.

And last list your isp's DNS servers.


That should do it.
